We had a particularly small cohort of Year 6 pupils in the year 2017-18 and as such are not permitted to publish these results to protect the anonymity of these pupils.

The chart above shows the percentage of Gaddesden Row pupils attaining the new expected standard against the national picture. Our Year 6 cohort in 2016/17 consisted of just 5 pupils. The results for such small year groups need careful analysis, since the usual measures are designed for much larger cohorts. Each pupil in our results is worth 20%. Whereas, in a typical two-form entry school each pupil would represent 1.6%.
For 2017, as for 2016, there were new, more challenging standards for SATs at Key Stage 1 and 2. Despite these challenges, pupils at Gaddesden Row performed above the national average in every subject except writing, where 2 pupils (40%) were not expected to achieve the expected standard.
