Swimming:
Swimming lessons resumed in September 2021.
Children in Key Stage 2 swim during the autumn term and children in EYFS and Key Stage 1 swim during the summer term.
Swimming lessons take place every Thursday morning at Berkhamsted Leisure Centre.
2021-22: 100% of our Year 6 cohort met the National Curriculum requirement to swim competently.
2018-19: 100% of our current Year 6 cohort have met the National curriculum requirement to swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres, using a range of strokes effectively and can perform safe self-rescue in different water based situations.
2017-18: 100% of our current Year 6 cohort have met the National curriculum requirement to swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres, using a range of strokes effectively and can perform safe self-rescue in different water based situations.
